Hydronic Radiant Floor Heating can be installed in concrete of a basement or shop/garage or in between the floor joists in flooring. Its the most comfortable heat that you will find. To install radiant we use 1/2″ oxygen barrier pex tubing and insulation. The insulation varies depending on what situation you have.
The loops of pex are installed in 300′ loops. We then build a manifold system with pumps and mixing valves to regulate the water. Each floor or zone is controlled by a thermostat. With radiant you are eliminating dust and noise that forced air systems create.
